The Easiest Way to Book a Party Bus Rental in Richmond
Newportnewspartybuscompany.com is not a bus company. It doesn't own vehicles, hire anyone to operate them, or take reservations directly. What it does is make finding the right bus genuinely simple — you fill out one quick form or call 948-216-8670, and in about a minute you're looking at vehicles, packages, and pricing from bus companies serving Richmond and the surrounding region.
No account required. No callbacks to chase down. No describing your trip to five different companies and waiting days for quotes that don't line up.
That's actually great news, because it means you're never stuck with one fleet. Richmond groups can compare a 14-passenger Sprinter limo for a smaller wedding party, a 25-passenger party bus for a bachelorette crawl through Scott's Addition, or a 56-passenger charter bus for a stadium run to CarMax Park — all side by side, all in one place. Whatever your group needs, the options are right there.
Call 948-216-8670 any time, any day, to get pricing in about a minute, with zero obligation.

Find the Richmond Bus Amenities You Want
Not every Richmond group needs the same setup. A 15- to 50-passenger party bus typically comes with wraparound perimeter seating, color-changing LED lighting, a built-in sound system with Bluetooth, flat-panel TVs, and a full-length bar area — right for a birthday night through Carytown or a bachelorette crawl in Scott's Addition. A 15–35 passenger minibus brings comfortable reclining seats and strong climate control without the full party package, which makes it a natural fit for wedding guest shuttles between downtown hotels and a venue in the Fan District.
Full-size charter buses add undercarriage luggage bays and onboard restrooms, which matter a lot on a longer run to a VCU away game or a school trip to Maymont. Amenities vary by vehicle, so comparing options through the site lets you match the right bus to the actual trip you're running. Call 948-216-8670 if you want help narrowing it down.

See Richmond Party Bus Prices Online
Richmond party bus rental prices shift based on vehicle size, the day of the week, and how long you need the bus — so the ranges below are planning figures to help you budget, not a quote. A 15-passenger party bus runs roughly $200–$350/hour on weekdays and $250–$350/hour on weekends. A 25-passenger party bus runs around $250–$375/hour on weekends.
A charter bus typically falls between $200–$350/hour or $1,350–$2,850 per day depending on the itinerary. A minibus generally runs $200–$275/hour on weekdays. Pricing moves with your date, your route, and demand — especially during Richmond Folk Festival weekends in October or VCU graduation in May, when availability tightens fast.

A Better Way to Rent a Party Bus in Richmond
The traditional way to book group transportation in Richmond goes like this: search for companies, call each one during business hours, explain your trip from scratch each time, wait for callbacks, and try to compare quotes that are packaged completely differently. That process can eat a full day — and you still might not know if you got a good deal.
Newportnewspartybuscompany.com replaces that scramble with one form or one call. You share your trip details once. You get vehicles and pricing from bus companies serving Richmond back in about a minute.
You compare them side by side and find what fits. No account required, no obligation, available any time any day — including the night before your trip if that's where you are. Because the site connects to a network of providers rather than a single fleet, you're never boxed into whatever one company happens to have available on your date.
A group of 12 heading to a game at CarMax Park can find a Sprinter limo. A wedding party of 55 can find a charter bus with onboard restrooms. The right bus is out there — this is just the fastest way to find it.

Party Bus Services Built for Richmond Groups
From airport shuttles and concert transportation to wedding shuttles, prom buses, sporting event charters, and corporate shuttles — whatever brings your Richmond group together, there's a bus in the network ready for it. Call 948-216-8670 to compare options for your event today.

Richmond Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Richmond International Airport (RIC) (1 Richard E. Byrd Terminal Dr, Richmond, VA 23250) sits off I-64 in Henrico County, about 7 miles east of downtown. It's not a massive hub, but the curbside configuration is tighter than first-timers expect — commercial vehicles use designated ground transportation lanes on the arrivals level, and the airport's official guidance asks pre-arranged group pickups to coordinate staging carefully to avoid blocking the single-lane curbside. The practical move: have your group fully assembled with bags before the bus is called up, not while people are still at baggage claim.
For groups flying into Washington Dulles (IAD) or Reagan National (DCA) for a Richmond event, a charter bus makes the 100–110 mile run south on I-95 straightforward — one vehicle, no rental car coordination, everyone arrives together. Call 948-216-8670 to set up your Richmond airport group shuttle today.

Richmond Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Scott's Addition is Richmond's most concentrated nightlife district — a former industrial neighborhood that now packs nearly 30 breweries, cideries, and bars into about a dozen walkable blocks between West Broad Street and Norfolk Avenue. The problem for groups driving themselves: street parking in Scott's Addition is a patchwork of 2-hour limits, permit zones, and private lots that enforce aggressively on weekend nights. Navigating that in a group of 15 after a few rounds is a genuine headache.
A Richmond bachelorette party bus stages on the commercial lanes off West Broad while your group moves between Väsen Brewing, Ardent Craft Ales, and The Veil — then swings the group down to the Fan District or Carytown for dinner before a late run to the Quirk Hotel rooftop. The party bus holds the itinerary together so no one is calling rideshares in three different directions at midnight. Weekends in Scott's Addition run especially busy May through October; locking in a bus 6–8 weeks out keeps your options wide open.

Richmond Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
A birthday group rolling into Carytown — Richmond's mile-long stretch of independent boutiques, restaurants, and bars along Cary Street — on a party bus makes an entrance. Street parking on Cary Street is metered and typically gone by 7 p.m. on weekends, and the surrounding residential streets in the Museum District are permit-only. A 20- or 25-passenger party bus drops the group at Cary Street and loops back without anyone worrying about a parking ticket or a 6-block walk in heels.
For a Sweet 16 or Quinceañera, Richmond event halls like Maggiano's at Short Pump Town Center or private reception rooms at Quirk Hotel coordinate easily with a bus pickup at the hotel porte-cochère. The 25-passenger party bus is a popular fit for these celebrations — LED lighting, sound system, and enough room for the whole group — running around $275–$375/hour on weekends. Call 948-216-8670 to check availability for your date.

Richmond Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Richmond's biggest concert venue is Altria Theater (6 N Laurel St, Richmond, VA 23220) in the heart of downtown — a stunning 3,565-seat venue where street parking on Laurel and Broad disappears fast on show nights. The VCU campus blocks on either side of the theater are permit-only in the evenings, which catches out-of-town groups off guard. A minibus or party bus drops your group at the theater entrance on North Laurel Street and handles the pickup when the show ends, no parking hunt required.
Larger productions move through Bon Secours Community Stadium and outdoor events at Brown's Island (301 Virginia St, Richmond, VA 23219), where the only realistic parking is paid surface lots that fill well before gates open. The Richmond Folk Festival takes over Brown's Island and the riverfront each October, drawing 200,000+ attendees over three days — rideshare wait times spike to 40+ minutes post-show. A charter bus for Richmond concert groups sidesteps the post-festival scramble entirely.
Call 948-216-8670 to compare options for your show date.

Richmond Corporate Event Transportation
Richmond's corporate corridor runs from the downtown financial district out through Innsbrook in Henrico County, and moving employee groups between those two zones during peak hours on I-64 West is a grind — 40 minutes for a 12-mile stretch on a bad afternoon is not unusual. A Richmond corporate event charter bus eliminates the car-count problem entirely: everyone boards at one location, arrives together, and the bus handles the route.
The Greater Richmond Convention Center (403 N 3rd St, Richmond, VA 23219) hosts large conferences year-round with limited adjacent parking that fills quickly on multi-day event days. Hotel blocks in the Shockoe Bottom or downtown core are typically a 10–15 minute bus loop from the convention center's North 3rd Street loading side, which makes a dedicated shuttle circuit the cleaner solution versus a rideshare free-for-all. For VIP transfers or executive shuttles between Richmond and Charlottesville or Northern Virginia, a Sprinter van covers the distance in comfort.
Call 948-216-8670 to talk through your corporate transportation plan.

Richmond Private Event Transportation Services
The Richmond Folk Festival brings more than 200,000 people to the riverfront over three October days — Brown's Island, Tredegar Street, and the Canal Walk become pedestrian-packed and effectively closed to through-traffic by mid-afternoon each day. Groups trying to drive in from the Near West End or South Richmond find I-95 and the Downtown Expressway backing up well before the evening headliners. A charter bus stages your group at a remote meet point and runs a direct route in, then picks everyone up at a pre-set time so no one is guessing a rideshare ETA at 10 p.m. with 200,000 other people doing the same thing.
For family reunions at Maymont or private corporate buyouts at Richmond Raceway, a Richmond charter bus rental keeps large groups on one vehicle, on one timeline. Reunions hitting multiple stops — Maymont, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, dinner in Shockoe Bottom — benefit from having the bus stage and move with the group rather than everyone scrambling for parking at each location. Call 948-216-8670 to build a custom itinerary quote.

Richmond Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Prom season across Richmond's Chesterfield, Henrico, and Richmond City schools clusters into a 5–6 week window each April and May. That concentration means bus availability tightens sharply across the metro — groups that call in March are working with good options and competitive pricing. Groups that wait until April are often looking at whatever's left.
For prom: book by January or February to get the vehicle and price you want.
Richmond-area proms are held at venues like the Greater Richmond Convention Center, the Westin Richmond, and private event spaces in Short Pump — all of which have clear bus drop-off lanes. A Richmond prom party bus keeps the whole friend group together from pickup to the last stop of the night, with no need for anyone to be the designated driver. Newportnewspartybuscompany.com makes it easy to compare bus sizes and pricing side by side without calling multiple companies. Start with 948-216-8670 or the online form.

Richmond School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Maymont (1700 Hampton St, Richmond, VA 23220) is Richmond's most-visited field trip destination — 100 acres of formal gardens, a nature center, and a working farm, with a dedicated school group entrance off Hampton Street. The site has no large commercial lot; school bus staging happens along Hampton Street and the surrounding residential grid, and groups arriving without coordinated timing back up the drop-off lane. Finding a charter bus through Newportnewspartybuscompany.com means one call to confirm staging logistics rather than juggling multiple vehicles.
The Virginia Museum of History & Culture (428 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23220) and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (200 N Boulevard, Richmond, VA 23220) are both frequent Richmond school trip destinations along the Boulevard corridor, where on-street bus parking is limited on weekday mornings. A Richmond school event charter bus with onboard restrooms keeps the trip schedule tight without unplanned stops. ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network — mention it when you request your quote at 948-216-8670.

Richmond Sporting Event Transportation
The Flying Squirrels play at CarMax Park (2705 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23230), the team's new home ballpark that opened in April 2026 on the Boulevard corridor, replacing the club's longtime home at The Diamond. As with any newly opened venue, plan for congestion around Arthur Ashe Boulevard on sellout nights, with rideshare pickup clustering post-game where the queue can back up.
A Richmond party bus or charter bus for Flying Squirrels games handles the group in one shot — pregame energy on the ride in, easy pickup at the designated commercial lane after the last out. For Virginia Commonwealth University basketball at the Stuart C. Siegel Center (1200 W Broad St, Richmond, VA 23284), street parking on West Broad is metered and gone early on game nights, and the VCU campus does not offer visitor lots on event evenings. A minibus running from a hotel block in the Shockoe area to Siegel Center's West Broad entrance is the clean solution.
Call 948-216-8670 to compare options for your game day.

Richmond Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Richmond's most popular wedding venue corridor runs from the historic estates in Goochland County — Tuckahoe Plantation, The Carriage House Inn — into the Fan District's converted mansions and down to the industrial-chic spaces in Shockoe Bottom. Guests staying at the downtown Marriott or the Omni Richmond who try to drive out to a Goochland estate on Route 250 West on a Saturday night will find themselves on a two-lane country road with no signage and a GPS that argues with itself. A Richmond wedding shuttle bus runs a clean loop from the hotel block to the venue entrance and back, so guests aren't making navigation decisions after a reception.
A 14-passenger Sprinter limo handles the bridal party from getting-ready location to ceremony in style, running $225–$350/hour on weekends. A minibus or charter bus handles the guest shuttle circuit. Because both vehicles can be compared through the same form, the whole wedding transportation picture comes together in one quote.
Call 948-216-8670 to lock in your date.

Richmond Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The James River Wine Trail puts half a dozen Virginia wineries within 30–45 minutes of downtown Richmond — Vinted Wine in the Staples Mill area, Courthouse Creek Cider in Maidens, and Castlewood Vineyard out in Goochland among the most popular group stops. The challenge: these wineries sit on rural roads off Route 6 and Route 522 where there's no parking for 10 separate cars, no rideshare coverage, and no realistic way to get home safely without a plan made in advance.
A Richmond winery tour bus keeps the whole group together from the first tasting to the last pour — no one draws the short straw, no car gets left at a vineyard overnight. Back in the city, Scott's Addition's brewery cluster makes a natural second leg: Ardent, The Veil, Hardywood Park. A 25-passenger party bus runs about $275–$375/hour on weekends for this kind of multi-stop itinerary.

How does this website work?
Newportnewspartybuscompany.com helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
What is Newportnewspartybuscompany.com?
Newportnewspartybuscompany.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation. It's not a bus company and doesn't provide transportation itself. You fill out one quick form or call 948-216-8670, and the site surfaces vehicle options and pricing from bus companies serving Richmond — so you can compare them in one place instead of calling around for days.

How much does a party bus cost in Richmond?
Richmond party bus rental prices range roughly from $200–$350/hour for a 15-passenger party bus on weekdays up to $325–$500/hour for a 40- or 50-passenger bus on a busy weekend. Charter buses generally run $200–$350/hour or $1,350–$2,850 per day. Pricing depends on your specific date, route, and vehicle — those ranges are planning figures only.
The fastest way to get a specific estimate is to call 948-216-8670 or use the online quote tool. Pricing in about a minute, no obligation.
When is the busiest time to book a party bus in Richmond?
Richmond has a few demand spikes that tighten bus availability across the metro. Prom season (April–May) is the most intense — Richmond City, Henrico, and Chesterfield high schools all hold proms within a 5–6 week window, and inventory goes fast. The Richmond Folk Festival weekend in October pulls huge crowds and competes for charter bus availability.
VCU graduation (typically early May) and the Richmond Marathon weekend in November are close behind. For any of these dates, booking 2–3 months out is the practical standard. For prom specifically, January or February is the right target.
Can a charter bus drop off directly at CarMax Park for Flying Squirrels games?
Yes. CarMax Park, the Flying Squirrels' home ballpark that opened in 2026, sits on North Arthur Ashe Boulevard, and commercial vehicles can stage along the Boulevard for drop-off and pickup. Since it's a newly opened venue, it's worth confirming the current designated drop-off and pickup area with your bus provider ahead of game day.
A charter bus drops the group directly and picks up post-game at a confirmed time and location, so no one is hunting a rideshare in a packed lot. Check the Flying Squirrels' official ballpark directions page before your visit for current approach guidance.
Where does a bus drop off at Altria Theater for a concert?
Altria Theater is at 6 N Laurel Street in downtown Richmond, and commercial vehicle drop-off happens on North Laurel Street at the main entrance. Street parking on Laurel and along West Broad Street fills quickly on show nights, and the surrounding VCU campus blocks enforce permit parking aggressively after 5 p.m. A bus drops your group at the front door, stages nearby or returns for pickup at a pre-set time, and nobody is circling the block.
Check the Altria Theater directions and parking page for current event-night guidance.
Is a charter bus or party bus better for a Richmond winery tour?
For most Richmond-area winery groups — typically 15–35 people making 2–4 stops along the James River Wine Trail — a minibus or party bus is the more practical fit than a full charter bus. Vineyard driveways and rural parking areas off Route 6 can be tight for a 45-foot motorcoach. A 25- or 30-passenger party bus gives you the amenities and the group-together benefit without the turning radius challenge.
That said, for larger groups of 40+, a charter bus works fine at most of the region's larger winery properties. Call 948-216-8670 and share your headcount and stops — the right fit becomes clear quickly.
How far in advance should I book?
For most Richmond events outside peak season, 3–4 weeks of lead time is workable. For busy weekends — Richmond Folk Festival in October, prom season April–May, VCU graduation, the Richmond Marathon in November — 2–3 months out is the realistic standard if you want strong vehicle selection and competitive pricing. For prom, aim for January or February.
Waiting until the last minute doesn't just cost more; it sometimes means the vehicle size or style you want simply isn't available. Call 948-216-8670 as soon as your date is set.
Popular Richmond Party Bus Destinations
Richmond's venue mix runs from riverfront festival grounds and downtown arenas to rural vineyard estates and Carytown's mile of independent storefronts. Here's what group transportation actually looks like at the city's most popular destinations — the logistics first-timers don't find out until they're already there.

CarMax Park
CarMax Park (2705 N Arthur Ashe Blvd, Richmond, VA 23230) is the new home of the Richmond Flying Squirrels, which opened in April 2026 and replaced the team's longtime home at The Diamond on the same Boulevard corridor. As a newly opened venue, parking and rideshare pickup patterns are still settling into a routine on busy nights — a charter bus drop-off at the main entrance sidesteps the guesswork, with pickup handled at a confirmed time and location after the game. Check the Flying Squirrels' official ballpark page for current directions and parking guidance before your visit.

Altria Theater
Altria Theater (6 N Laurel St, Richmond, VA 23220) is Richmond's premier indoor performance venue — 3,565 seats, a National Historic Landmark building, and a downtown location that makes parking genuinely difficult on show nights. The nearest dedicated parking is a set of VCU parking decks a short walk from the theater, and street parking and residential permit zones nearby fill up fast before curtain on busy performances. Bus drop-off uses the North Laurel Street entrance, putting your group at the box office doors before anyone else is settled.
Review Altria Theater's parking and directions page for current event-night details.

Maymont
Maymont (1700 Hampton St, Richmond, VA 23220) is a 100-acre historic estate and public park — one of Richmond's most popular destinations for family events, field trips, and private gatherings. The main visitor entrance and nature center are off Hampton Street in the Byrd Park neighborhood, where residential street parking is the primary option for groups that drive in. There is no large surface lot; vehicles stage along Hampton Street and the surrounding grid, which gets tight when multiple school or tour groups arrive simultaneously.
A bus coordinating its arrival time with the site avoids backing up the Hampton Street drop-off lane. Admission is free. Check Maymont's official visitor page for group coordination details.
Phone: (804) 358-7166

Brown's Island & Tredegar Street
Brown's Island (301 Virginia St, Richmond, VA 23219) is Richmond's primary outdoor event lawn — a Canal Walk peninsula that hosts the Richmond Folk Festival each October, outdoor concerts through the summer, and private corporate events year-round. The island is accessible only on foot from Tredegar Street or the pedestrian bridge off 5th Street, which means no vehicle drop-off directly on the island itself. The nearest paid surface lots along Tredegar Street and in the Shockoe area run $10–$20 on event days and fill fast.
During Richmond Folk Festival — 200,000+ attendees over three October days — I-95 southbound and the Downtown Expressway both back up before evening sets. A charter bus stages at a lot and shuttles the group across rather than competing for the last parking spot. Check Venture Richmond's official Brown's Island page for event-day logistics.

Greater Richmond Convention Center
The Greater Richmond Convention Center (403 N 3rd St, Richmond, VA 23219) is one of the largest convention facilities in the mid-Atlantic — 700,000 square feet of total space, with the convention hall footprint running along North 3rd Street between East Clay and East Leigh. The closest parking garage is the GRCC Garage directly adjacent on North 4th Street, but multi-day conference attendees filling it by 8 a.m. is common on large event days, pushing overflow to paid surface lots along East Marshall. Hotel blocks at the Omni Richmond and the Hilton Richmond Downtown are both within a short shuttle loop of the 3rd Street loading entrance.
For large conferences, a dedicated employee or attendee shuttle circuit on a minibus or charter bus eliminates the garage-or-walk decision entirely. Check the GRCC's official transportation page before your event. Phone: (804) 783-7300

Scott's Addition
Scott's Addition is Richmond's most concentrated craft beverage district — nearly 30 breweries, cideries, distilleries, and bars packed into about 15 walkable blocks between West Broad Street and Norfolk Avenue, west of the Boulevard. Hardywood Park Craft Brewery (1000 W Leigh St), The Veil Brewing Co. (1301 Roseneath Rd), Ardent Craft Ales (3200 W Leigh St), and Väsen Brewing (3331 W Moore St) are all within easy walking distance of each other. Street parking on West Broad is metered and enforced until 9 p.m.; the residential side streets in Scott's Addition carry 2-hour limits that private lot attendants enforce on weekend nights.
A party bus staging on the commercial lane off West Broad lets your group move freely between stops without a designated driver conversation at every location. On peak weekend nights, expect the neighborhood to be packed — having a confirmed pickup time and location is the detail that makes the difference.
